| Curved lines |
The task at our meeting today was to look at a photograph or picture and select a small portion of it to influence a picture created in stitch. Where possible the idea was to use the theme we are currently working on of "Along the Lines".
Inspiration above and the beginnings of the stitched work below ...
Inspiration from a brassica on the allotment here stitched on a piece of damask tablecloth.
Another person also used plant material as inspiration.
Landscape lines make for an interesting piece of work
No guessing where the inspiration for this piece came from. Do you recognise the book? She was also finsihed her stitched piece long before everyone else.
Finally, more plant material. Wonder if this member of the group needs a little help to find her needle and thread at times!!
